Yesterday, I requested that Tara from 94.7FM play The Cars "Drive" for the 10AM theme of the day, which happened to be driving. She gave me a nice shot out (thanks Tara) and played the tune. As I listened to it, I remembered just how much I enjoy that song. Something about it brings me back to my childhood in Vegas. Driving home late at night, sometimes from Grandma's in Boulder City, half-asleep in the car, with that song playing. It puts me in this great mood as my mind wanders back to a simpler time. I've listened to the song a couple more times since and each time it puts me in a happier frame of mind. That song truly is one of my happy places.
